We are truly excited as we prepare to host our next exhibition entitled Reclaim, Reconfigure, and Re-Remember” The Black Woman is God recognizes your commitment as an artist to the upliftment of Women in the African Diaspora and wishes to extend an invite to our virtual opening reception on Friday, November 13th from 3:00 - 6:00 pm, pacific standard time.

Our line up for the evening includes opening remarks by San Francisco Mayor, London Breed; Scholar, Historian, Author and Lecturer Dr. Runoko Rashidi; performances by Georgia Anne Muldrow; Zap Mama with Tarika Lewis and Destiny Muhammed; the God Code Cypher featuring Ryan Nicole, Talia Taylor, Shy’an G, Monet Maka, Coco Pelia, and MADlines; Zakiya Harris; Turfin 247; the ELWAH Dance Movement; and the Hiplet Ballerinas. We will be a guest for two artist discussions: Let Go, Let God with Malik Seneferu, Greg Tate, Danny Simmons and Kwadwo Addo Gyan; and God Talk with Renee Cox: Artist, Photographer, Lecturer, Political Activist and Curator; Harmonia Rosales, Cuban-American Artist; Karen Seneferu, Artist, Artistic Director, Co-Curator; and moderated by Ajuan Mance Professor and Dean at Mills College, Artist and Curator.
