As a community, it is necessary to call on our Ancestral Intelligence to transform our next journey. At its center The Black Woman Is God holds space for Black women creators. However, I have invited the Black family to stand together with us as the vortex of our creativity and culture in this exhibition. The title "We See Us" is a celebration of making the invisible, visible- to Us, bringing Black men into the center with us, inviting Black youth to say in the exhibit what they desire from Us, and for Black women to acknowledge what we may have lost in this violent world that we demand come back to Us. Therefore, the exhibit "We See Us" needs Us all to come together and produce a new civilization against the undermining of the divine in Us all.
